Dr. Hauger has been practicing in the Fairfield and Hamilton areas since 1990 after relocating from Texas. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio in 1984 and then completed her Residency in Internal Medicine and her Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the University Health Center also in San Antonio, Texas. She is board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
Dr. Hauger is married and has two daughters.  Her hobbies are horseback riding and classical piano.
